possibly too late to do anything now, but for future notice; i was scrolling back through memes and noticed that on the 20th, [personal profile] hellboi posted 3 memes on the same day and relatively close to each other. i don't know if you want to bring it up to them or send them a pm about it, as one meme a day per account is the norm and in the rules and they posted at least one if not two of the memes that we've been having problems with being overdone. (i'd date that/shippy questions).

Is TFLN allowed to go up on Thursday night now? I know the comm runs on EST and that the early weeks have been getting progressively earlier, but this is ridiculous. It's still 9:30pm on Thursday for the West Coast.

This isn't a problem, more like trying to schedule a meme in advance:

I'm planning on posting an autumn prompts meme on the equinox (22nd/23rd depending on time zone) so please don't take it down for similarity? (If you can post a 4 seasons meme a week after an autumn meme, then you can post an autumn meme a week after a 4 seasons meme, right? Especially since the meme I'm thinking of posting has a lot more prompts than the 4 seasons meme.)

idk what you want to do about this, but this is showing that there's clearly at least one anon who's doing this intentionally and either the mods are going to need to post a schedule of the times for tfln, or be on it to delete it every time this particular one decides to play this 'it's within the rules' game.

This has been happening for weeks and the mods don't do anything, because, technically, it falls into the rules, but it sure is annoying as hell. Both the early posting and the mods' indifference.

If it falls into the rules, and they've restated that it falls into the rules, then there's nothing for them to be "indifferent" about. It is working as they intended it, and it's the people who are freaking out about it being posted the minute it falls into the time slot who are being overreactive about this entirely pointless drama.

DA, it seems to defeat the point to let the meme be posted on the minute each week when the mods are asking it be posted at varying times each week to accommodate for more people's schedules.

My suggestion would be to enforce that, instead of posting a reminder each week that TFLN posters just ignore. It's not "working as intended" if their intent is variability.

So give the mods even more work, when you know if people are this angry for no reason, they'll still be angry then, too.

Unless you wanted the mods to allow it twice a week, that would mean people would have to wait twice as long for their preferred time slot to come up. So then, they'd be bitching that they had to wait two weeks between being able to join in.

Hey mods. Can we do something about how this meme is written? At the bottom it says all are welcome but either due to poor editing or lack of care the meme still comes off as het preferred and also fairly misogynistic.

I think a counterpart to femdom meme is fine and great honestly but this really ain't it.
